A programme framed by two Viennese masterpieces, and designed around music with "a sense of place"… two world premières by Moffat-based composers, together with music evoking landscapes & locations from Cornwall to the Orkneys, from the Lake District to the Highlands of Scotland, and from Hungary to the dentist's chair! Carolyn Sparey grew up in the Lake District, the daughter of a dentist Gavin Maxwell is a bagpiper and composer often to be found in Café Ariete - Moffat's continental ice cream & coffee haven!
